In order for your content to be accepted by people, first of all they have to like you. — And the way to get someone to like you is first and foremost courtesy.
As a writer you need to understand that your content is a kind of calming of all the “storm” outside, since reading is a form of therapy.
You need to provide that moment of clarity to the reader, because that is what you can best give him as a writer.
Reassure the reader
The way to reassure the reader is to first agree with him on something. — And it is important to agree with him on a fair point, so that he can agree with you for the longer term.
Once you have done so, you can even defy the ideas you are rejecting, and sometimes the reader may even change his mind and beliefs following the things you write.
